July and August promise to be lively in the Burgundy wine capital, with the “Scène d'été, côté cours, côté jardins” event.
The programme includes a wide range of entertaining activities taking place in different venues in the town,, with drama and street theatre to delight both adults and children. “Scène d'été, côté cours, côté jardins” will be giving pride of place to poets, with recitals of “Apéroésie” in the Jardin de l'Hôtel Boussard de la Chapelle, and will involve a medieval stroll through the heart of Beaune.
The Summer Garden Parties will also be making their big come-back this summer, and a range of musical styles will be explored with concerts at the Théâtre de Verdure on Saturday nights. Jazz, electro-lounge, rock and French songs… the people of Beaune will have plenty to choose from on the music front.
