Bach à Bacchus Festival
From Saturday July 4 to Tuesday July 7, 2009
The Bach à Bacchus festival was established in 1986 by the pianist Yves Henry and is notable for its classical high quality music concerts in prestigious venues such as the Château de Cîteaux and the Château de Meursault. The festival blends classical music and great wines of Burgundy, thus visitors can take part in wine tastings to discover the characteristics of Meursault wines and enjoy music dinners.
Programme:
- Saturday July 4: in the centre of Meursault town - 5 wine tastings and music performances from 3 pm to 7 pm.
- Sunday July 5: classical concert at the church Saint Nicolas de Meursault at 4.30 pm
- Monday July 6: classical concert at the church Saint Nicolas de Meursault at 8.30 pm
- Tuesday July 7: classical concert at the Château de Meursault at 8.30 pm |
