25th musical festival of « Bach à Bacchus »
From Saturday 17th July 2010 to Thursday 5th August 2010
This festival created in 1986 by Yves Henry offers concerts of high quality with confirmed artists and young talents in the magnificent castles of Cîteaux and Meursault. These concerts are allied with wine and gastronomic dimensions through oenological training courses to really discover Meursault’s soil and dinner-concerts.
Programme:
- Saturday 17th July from 3pm to 7pm: oenological and musical tour in the village of Meursault. Five courtyards and gardens usually closed to the public will be opened for concerts and wine-tasting.
- Sunday 18th July at 4:30pm: big chamber music concert in Meursault’s church to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Schumann’s birth with Paris Orchestra’s soloists, including the clarinettist Pascal Morguès and the horn player André Cazalet, present at the creation of the festival in 1986.
- Monday 19th July at 8:30pm: literate and musical evening in the Meursault castle, after the book of Gérard Oberlé “Itinéraire Spitirueux”, with François René Duchâble and Alain Carré. This concert will be followed by an after-concert dinner in the storeroom Robert de Grancey*.
