De Cep en Verre et en Musique - Festival of wine and music
On August 7 and 8, 2010
Nolay’s tourist agency, in partnership with the syndicate of defence of the “Hautes Côtes” organizes on August 7th and 8th the seventh edition of a ludic itinerary on wine and vine.
At the heart of the historical centre of Nolay, around 30 exhibitors will share and make you discover their activities related to the love of wine and vine. Music takes its ease and brings the worlds of jazzy notes with afro-Cuban sonorities, street-shows and plays together to make emotion, dream and tenderness arouse in you. Children basketry workshops, giant wood games, street-shows mixing music and poetry, wine-tasting, grown-ups and children will be able to share moments of reverie and happiness. 2010’s newness: procession on Saturday 7 August at 7pm that will lead everyone who wishes to the city hall’s garden, where a concert and a festive party will take place.
The 2010 edition will concentrate on everything concerning wine, local crafts, paintings finding inspiration in vine and regional products.
A 7 km walk will invite grow-ups and children to go in the lands to meet the ones who produce wine, these daring artists, close to nature who are the wine growers. Between the wine rows, they will tell you their story, profession, challenges, passion…
Provided with a questionnaire, the participants of this rally will be able to answer the riddles and be rewarded at the end of the day at the prize-giving. This year, a new layout for this pedestrian rally! Like at the end of the wine harvest, a big “Paulée” around a large table overflowed by delicious dishes and wines will mark the end of this bacchanalian week-end. |
