A Renaissance palace in Burgund
Nested at the heart of a 50 ha park, the château of Ancy le Franc has no equivalent in Italy nor in France, thanks to its completely original composition. Representing the Renaissance art of living, the interior is decorated with a huge setting of wall paintings, turning Ancy-le-Franc into the rival of Fontainebleau. The architect Serlio has set the apartments and rooms around an elegant square courtyard.
Apart from the guided tours, enjoy the park, open for the first time this season. Not to mention the concerts organized by the association Musicancy, as well as the exhibitions, flea markets…
And how about coming and using the beautiful kitchen of the château ? A moment of pleasure and exchange, the cookery classes make you discover the gastronomic treasures and the creativity of the chef.
