Jazz comes in 2 phases in 2011 with “Les Vendanges du Jazz” on 17 and 18 September; free concerts under the bandstand in Place Carnot. 3 regional groups representing the new generation will be performing in the afternoon, offering a jazz experience in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

From 13 to 15 October, it will be the turn of “La Paulée du Jazz”. In Burgundy, “La Paulée” is the name used for an Epicurean banquet at the end of the grape harvest. These three particularly festive evenings will begin with tastings of Burgundy wines, followed by concerts given by international artistes.

The event will be rounded off by “La Nuit du Jazz” after the concert on 15 October. This is an evening in a club, where people can get together and listen to a leading group, all through the night.
