Restaurants – a new star in Beaune

Chef Christophe Canati from the Clos du Cèdre gains recognition in the Michelin Guide 2013

“I love making people happy with my cuisine – it’s as simple as that” – such is the philosophy of chef Christophe Canati. Originally from Normandy, he took up residence in the Clos du Cèdre – the gastronomic restaurant of the Hostellerie Le Cèdre***** – in March 2012. His travels around France included stopping off in Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux, where he gained his first star in the Hostellerie de Plaisance. His new home of choice, Burgundy, is somewhere he now knows quite well, having spent some time in Joigny, Vonnas (for George Blanc), and two years working with Bernard Loiseau.
