The national “Tourisme & Handicap” label has been created to make tourism and leisure easier for disabled people and develop a form of tourism appropriate to everyone’s needs.
Sites with a “Tourisme & Handicap” label are identified by a logo placed at the entrance of tourist establishments and on promotional documentation for the destinations. The logo uses four pictograms to inform disabled people in a reliable, consistent and objective way about accessibility for their particular disability (motor, visual, auditory and mental).
Over 100 establishments of all kinds have been given this label in Burgundy: hotels, campsites, group accommodation, restaurants, rural sites, sites of cultural and natural interest, wine cellars and outdoor leisure activities... including:
